A few shipmates I met while at Ft. Jackson include from left: Trung Ngyun, a chemical engineer who lives in Orlando. When he was 9 years old, his family escaped by boat and left Vietnam. During the escape, he witnessed the worst in mankind and seen things no 9 year old should ever see yet he is always friendly, has a smile and cleans every crumb off his plate at every meal); Dave Marshall from Topeka, KS; myself; and Tom Porter from DC.

Shipmates at Ft. Jackson
